This will be a low fat and healthy breakfast packed with lot of vegetables in it an so nutritious.
Eating a healthy diet with green vegetables is not a hard task .So it just requires little knowledge and healthy herbs with some ingredients.This low-fat breakfast is a great way to start your day and impress your taste buds.Lets make your appetite with nutritious food.
- 2 cups (360 gm) parboiled rice.
- 1/2 cup (90 gm) Bengal Gram (dhuli urad) split and husked.
- 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds (Methi).
- 2 Tomatoes , 1 Capsicum , 3 Onions , 2 Carrots.
- Salt 2 tsp.
- An tawa iron or griddle.
- Olive Oil to smear the pan for cooking the uttapam.
Soak rice , Bengal Gram and Fenugreek Seeds in water for 3-4 Hours.
Grind fine , add salt to make it consistent with enough of water
Put chopped onions , capsicum , tomatoes , carrot than stir and leave it to fement for 30min.
Heat Pan and brush olive oil over it , when really hot splash a little water and spread one cup of batter on to it.
It will be Spread a little , when edges starts becoming Brown a bit , put a trail of olive oil around it (do it on both sides)
